Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager

Location: Essex

As we continue to expand our portfolio, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth and secure new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities: As the Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a vital role in our strategic growth. Your responsibilities will include:

1.

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities.

2.

Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitor activities.

3.

Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and industry partners.

4.

Proposal Management: Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality bids and proposals, working closely with the bid team to ensure compelling and competitive submissions.

5.

Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance our profile and build connections.

6.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the senior management team to align business development activities with overall company goals.

7.

Reporting: Provide regular updates to the senior management team on business development activities, pipeline status, and market insights.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, ideally within the construction - ideally Main Contracting

* Strong network of industry contacts and the ability to develop new client relationships.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

* Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage the bid process from inception to submission.

* Strong organisational and time management skills.

Location: This role is based in Essex, with occasional travel required to meet clients and attend industry events
