Description:

A strategic Senior Brand Manager role with real ownership of brand growth, innovation and commercial performance across a branded FMCG food portfolio.

Senior Brand Manager

Gloucestershire | Hybrid - 3 days in office | Up to £60,000 + £5,000 car allowance + 10% bonus + benefits

The Opportunity

We're recruiting for a Senior Brand Manager to join a well-established FMCG food business, taking ownership of one or more brands within a wider portfolio.

This is a role for someone who wants to shape the long-term direction of a brand, rather than simply manage campaigns and activation.

You'll be responsible for building the brand vision and growth strategy, developing annual and longer-term plans, shaping innovation and renovation opportunities and working closely with senior teams across functions to turn strategy into measurable growth.

The role also includes one direct report, giving you the opportunity to combine strategic brand ownership with people management.

It's a highly visible role where you'll have the opportunity to challenge existing thinking, identify new opportunities and influence where the brands go over the next three to five years.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the long-term strategy and annual planning for assigned brands.
Identify and develop opportunities to grow brand performance and profitability.
Shape innovation and renovation pipelines from insight through to launch.
Use consumer, customer and market insight to guide strategy and investment.
Manage significant marketing investment with a clear focus on commercial return.
Work cross-functionally to deliver brand plans and growth initiatives.
Lead brand communications, activation and key agency relationships.
Line management responsibility for one direct report.
Influence senior stakeholders and contribute to wider business planning.

What We're Looking For

Brand management experience within FMCG, food, drink or a related consumer sector.
Strong experience developing brand strategies and commercially focused growth plans.
Good understanding of consumer insight, brand performance and customer dynamics.
Experience across innovation, brand activation and communications.
Commercial confidence and the ability to use data to support recommendations.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to challenge thinking constructively.

Why Join?

This is a senior brand role offering genuine ownership, visibility and influence, working closely with the senior marketing team and helping shape the future direction of established brands.

The package includes up to £60,000 salary, £5,000 car allowance, 10% bonus, 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday off, 5% matched pension and the option to purchase additional holiday.

If you enjoy insight-led brand strategy, innovation and commercial challenge, this is an opportunity to have a meaningful impact on both the brand and the wider business.
