Senior AV Technician
North Hertfordshire
£30,000 - £38,000 + Overtime

The Company:
We are a leading AV Hire and technical event production company, specialising in corporate events of all sizes. Our projects span the UK, Europe, USA, and Asia, and we have ambitious plans for growth in the coming years.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior AV Technician to lead the preparation, maintenance, and operation of audio, video, and lighting equipment for our events. In this role, you will:
Key duties include:
Test and prepare equipment in the warehouse, ensuring all AV hardware is show-ready and functional
Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians in the warehouse and on-site
Act as the point of contact for clients during events
Rig sound, lighting, and video equipment before each event
Operate AV consoles during events, including sound desks, lighting consoles, and vision mixers
Build and configure LED video walls
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues quickly and effectively
Occasionally deliver equipment to event sites
Maintain a professional appearance and serve as a point of contact for clients during events
Shut down and pack away equipment after each event
Required skills and attributes:
At least 3 years of experience as an AV technician with a strong understanding of audio, video, and lighting
Full UK driving licence
Preferred skills and attributes:
Experience operating Yamaha sound desks
Proficiency with video hardware such as Barco, Roland, or Blackmagic
Lighting programming experience with Avolites
Package details:
A competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £38,000, based on experience
