Managing your own portfolio of projects and maintaining strong client relationships.
Liaising and negotiating with local planning authorities, consultants, developers and other stakeholders.
Working closely with the wider architectural and landscape teams to deliver coordinated projects.
Supporting business development, identifying new opportunities and building relationships across Devon and the South West.
Playing a key role in establishing and developing the planning team within the Exeter office, with the potential to grow and mentor a team as the business expands.
 Requirements:

MRTPI Chartered status, although experienced candidates working towards chartership will also be considered.
Strong knowledge of the UK planning system, planning policy and development management.
Experience managing planning applications and advising clients throughout the planning process.
Excellent communication, negotiation and client relationship skills.
A proactive approach with an interest in business development and helping to grow a planning team.
The confidence and ambition to take on a leading role within a developing office.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in establishing and growing a planning team within a new Exeter office, with genuine scope for career progression and future leadership opportunities. You'll have the autonomy to develop client relationships, contribute to the growth of the business and work on a varied portfolio of projects, whilst benefiting from the support of an established, award-winning multidisciplinary consultancy.
