Lead the Design of Major Healthcare Projects in a Globally Connected Design Practice

Are you a talented Architect with significant experience delivering larger healthcare projects?

We are representing an established international design practice that is looking for an experienced Senior Architect to join its award winning Healthcare team within their central London office.

This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative multidisciplinary environment and take a leading role in the design and delivery of major healthcare developments, working alongside some of the industry's leading architects, designers, engineers and specialist consultants.

The Opportunity

As Senior Architect, you will take a prominent role in the delivery of complex healthcare projects, working across a range of project stages and helping to translate ambitious client requirements into high-quality, deliverable architecture.

You will be involved in everything from design development and technical coordination through to construction, while working closely with clients and multidisciplinary project teams.

Key responsibilities will include:

Leading architectural design and delivery on major healthcare projects.
Developing design proposals from concept through to detailed and technical design.
Coordinating architectural information with structural, MEP and other specialist consultants.
Working closely with clients, contractors and wider project stakeholders.
Taking an active role in design reviews, workshops and client presentations.
Helping to ensure projects are delivered to the required quality, programme and technical standards.
Providing leadership, guidance and mentoring to colleagues.
Contributing to the continued development of the healthcare design team and its project portfolio.
About You

We're looking for Architects who have a strong background in healthcare design and delivery, ideally gained within an architectural practice or multidisciplinary environment.

You should have:

Proven experience delivering larger healthcare projects.
Strong understanding of healthcare design principles, technical requirements and regulatory considerations.
Experience working across multiple RIBA stages, particularly detailed design and technical delivery.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent design, communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong client-facing abilities.
Good knowledge of Revit and other relevant architectural software.
ARB registration and/or RIBA membership.
