Location: Berkshire

Salary: £45,000 - £52,000

An established and highly regarded architectural practice specialising in premium residential design is seeking a talented Senior Architect to join its expanding Berkshire studio. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of prestigious bespoke residential projects, nurture key client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of a design-led practice renowned for creating exceptional homes.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the design and delivery of luxury residential projects through all RIBA work stages
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders
* Oversee project programmes, resources, budgets, and quality standards to ensure successful outcomes
* Direct the production of design proposals, technical packages, specifications, and construction information
* Manage multidisciplinary consultant teams and coordinate project delivery effectively
* Provide design leadership, technical guidance, and mentoring to junior team members
* Champion sustainable design principles and best practice throughout project development
* Support business development initiatives and contribute to the continued strengthening of the practice's reputation

Skills & Experience

* ARB-registered Architect with substantial post-qualification experience within the UK market
* Proven track record delivering high-end private residential projects from feasibility through to completion
* Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing projects, teams, and client relationships
* Excellent design, technical detailing, and project coordination skills
* Confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain long-term client partnerships
* Experience with Vectorworks would be advantageous
* Strong understanding of sustainable design principles, with Passivhaus knowledge or certification viewed favourably
* Commercially aware with the ability to balance design quality, programme requirements, and project budgets
