Description:

Your new company
Hays are working with a small, design-focused practice delivering bespoke residential and commercial projects across the North West. In what will be a key hire for the business, they're looking to appoint a Senior Architect who can take ownership of projects, manage client relationships and support the next stage of growth.
The role offers a high degree of autonomy, direct client exposure and a clear route towards Associate level over time. You'll work across a varied portfolio of high-end residential projects, including extensions, remodels and full property transformations, alongside a growing volume of commercial and developer-led schemes.
Whilst residential projects continue to form a significant proportion of the workload, the practice is looking to grow its commercial portfolio over the coming years and sees this appointment as a key part of that strategy.

Your new role

Very much a client-facing role with real creative freedom
Lead projects from intal survey through planning and technical design
Produce planning and building warrant packages using Revit
Manage client relationships and act as a trusted day-to-day contact
Coordinate consultants and contribute to project delivery strategy
Contribute to the continued development and expansion of the business, acting as a mentor to junior staff as the practice grows

What you'll need to succeed

ARB registered Architect with a minimum of 5 years' post part 3 experience
Strong Revit capabilities with experience delivering projects independently
Experience leading projects through planning and technical design
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work autonomously
Residential experience preferred, particularly bespoke or high-end residential projects, although applicants from other sectors will be considered
A positive attitude, willingness to learn and ambition to take on greater responsibility are considered just as important as sector background

What you'll get in return
This is a unique opportunity for an Architect who enjoys autonomy, wants greater influence over project delivery, and is interested in progression towards an Associate level position as the business continues to expand.

Salary in the region of £55,000 - £65,000 DOE
Exposure to a varied portfolio of bespoke residential and commercial projects
Clear progression towards a senior leadership or Associate level role
Opportunity to make the role your own
