Data Analyst / Senior Administrator
Location: Portsmouth
Hours of work: Monday to Friday Core working hours
Salary: £12 to £13 per hour
Start date: ASAP
Duration of assignment : This is a temporary position with no end date currently
Dynamite recruitment is working in partnership with a very well-established business who are based in the Portsmouth area
Our client is going through huge growth and have as a result developed new departments to support with this
As a result, they required some immediate support within a senior administration position where you would support with the implementation of a new computer system
Whilst the job is partially data entry, they will also expect someone with the ability to query/analyse data and be able to scrutinise data.
As a Senior Administrator / Data Analyst you will be responsible for :
Creation of initial procedure (based on instruction) on how to correct data fields
Correct system data by manual input based on check list against daily achievement target and against created procedure
Correct system data by upload to system and creation of upload format
Check input correction output
Update KPI against correction done
Support gathering of missing input data from stakeholders, comparison of input data against existing one, Update based on latest correct info.
Analysis of data in excel creation of problem categories and summarising of results in a structured way.
Completing general administration
The ideal Administrator / Analyst will have / be
Strong administrative skills and experience
Advanced level of Word and Excel
Excel analytical skills
The ability to execute against a base instruction.
At times client sensitive data may be handled (email addresses / telephone number) – not necessarily restricted clients, but still some basic GDPR compliance will be required.
Previous experience of supporting with new systems / implementing new systems would be advantageous although isn’t essential
