Senior Administrator – Hire and Sales
Salary: Circa £29,000

Reports to: Operations Manager
Our client are a well-established and rapidly expanding company which provides materials handling solutions to a UK wide customer base. As a leading independent Forklift Truck dealer in the region, they have a commitment to providing the very best customer service available in our field.
An excellent opportunity has arisen at their Bristol depot for an experienced Hire and Sales Coordinator.
Person Spec:
We are looking for a customer relationship builder who is engaged and driven. Must have exemplary organisational skills along with high levels of IT proficiency. A willingness to take ownership of the day to day running of a hire and sales function combined with the capacity to engage with, and contribute to, the general running of a busy office environment.
Responsibilities
* Day to day running of a busy hire desk including transport coordination and workshop/customer liaison.
* Coordinator of all administration surrounding truck sales from the point of sales order to final delivery logistics.
* To assist in the smooth running of a busy office environment utilising a strong organisational ethic.
Main Tasks
* Plan and coordinate the hire desk which includes handling enquiries, truck allocation, hire fleet management and customer liaison administration.
* Hire fulfilment utilising internal and external transport and associated logistics.
* Reporting on hire fleet utilisation and status through KPI’s.
* Liaise with sales team to administer truck orders from inception to completion.
* Liaising with finance providers.
* Act as main liaison between operations and sales team
* Support accounts and service function as and when required.
Requirements:
Essential:
* 5 years administration experience
* Exceptional organisational skills
* Strong IT knowledge including word and excel.
* Proficient communication skills both written and oral.
* Effective team player who can manage a varied and busy workload.
* Good understanding of customer service expectations and excellent telephone manner
* Able to deal with reactive work.
* To have commercial awareness
Desirable:
* Previous knowledge of a hire function
