Senior Accountant- Projects, Process Improvement and Fixed Assets (Fully Qualified)- ACCA/CIMA/ACA- Basingstoke (Hybrid)- £50,000-£55,000 + Bonus and Benefits- Permanent
IN2 Consult is partnering with a long standing international client on the recruitment of a fully qualified, process improvement driven accountant to join their growing function.
This role will act as the number 2 in the team supporting the Head of Department to drive process improvement and change initiatives as well as overseeing fixed asset and lease accounting/
The key duties of thisSenior Accountant- Projects, Process Improvement and Fixed Assets role include:
Ensure compliance with the Capital Accounting Policy and maintain the integrity of the Global Fixed Assets register
Coordinate and process Capital Accounting period end close activities.
Complete Capital Accounting balance sheet reconciliations, including those for assets under construction projects, and liaise with balance sheet owners as needed.
Prepare Capital Accounting financial reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
Supervise Capital Accounting activities across international legal entities.
Manage compliance with IFRS16 regulations.
Ensure adherence to accounting and tax statutory requirements.
Provide information to support the preparation of audited financial statements.
Achieve or exceed department SLAs and KPIs.
Oversee Fixed Assets journal processing by collaborating with site and hub teams to ensure proper maintenance of accounts and records systems.
Manage stakeholder relationships, including forecasting Fixed Asset Register depreciation and balance sheets.
Communicate clearly and concisely with both internal and external auditors.
Drive change and process improvement throughout the function
The desired candidate for this Senior Accountant- Projects, Process Improvement and Fixed Assets role should have the following experience:
ACCA/CIMA/ACA Fully Qualified (This is a must have requirement for this role)
Strong track record of driving change and process improvement
Experience in IFRS 16 Lease accounting
Experience in fixed asset accounting
Previous line management/ supervisory experience would be beneficial
Strong communication skills
