The role is offering handling the day-to-day accounting tasks for various fund structures, guided by a Financial Reporting Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the accounting for a diverse range of funds, management companies, and related structures, and communicating with clients and intermediaries as needed.
Handling all accounting matters for a portfolio of fund structures, including preparing, reconciling, and verifying investor reports, statutory financial statements, and responding to adhoc investor queries.
Addressing routine audit queries.
Performing regular bank reconciliations and providing supporting documentation for transactions.
Maintaining accurate records using eFront and Microsoft Excel working paper schedules.
Preparing and reconciling periodic direct and indirect tax returns.
Serving as a mentor to junior staff members under the supervision of senior colleagues.Skills, knowledge, and expertise required:
The ideal candidate will be partly qualified with a relevant professional certification (ideally having started ACCA Professional level or ACA Advanced level).
Previous experience in Private Equity Funds is desirable, although experience from other industries will be considered.
Strong technical knowledge of financial services.
Proficiency in computer literacy is essential.
Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary for building strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and business contacts.Offer:
