Job Title: Senior Accountant

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per year

Our client is a well-established accountancy firm based in East London. They are seeking a skilled Accountant ready to step up and join their team. With a focus on professionalism and providing excellent client service, our client offers a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Professionally represent the organisation in dealings with clients and other professionals
Prepare various financial information and reports for client portfolio
Review and finalise statutory accounts and disclosures under UK GAAP and other relevant frameworks
Handle VAT returns, payroll processing, and related filings
Provide expert advice to clients on technical queries and advisory matters
Engage with clients to understand their business plans and offer practical solutions
Stay updated on accounting software and apps, including proficiency in Xero
Mentor and provide feedback to junior team members
Actively seek opportunities to increase client billings and expand client base
Adhere to internal policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality of financial informationEssential Requirements:
Working towards ACA/ACCA/IEAEW qualification
Strong knowledge of accounting software, particularly XeroHow to Apply:
