Senior Accountant
Swindon
Full Time – Permanent
Monday – Friday – 8.30am – 5.00pm
Salary is dependent on experience
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join our client based in Swindon.
The Role:
* Being a client support manager for a tranche of clients – and building up relationships with them.
* Meeting clients face-to-face, on Zoom/Teams and talking on the phone.
* Preparation of accounts for limited companies – including liaising with clients while preparing the accounts and drafting tax computations.
* Checking/preparing VAT returns for clients.
* Preparation of income tax returns.
* Advising/training clients on Xero.
* Our client will give on-the-job training as necessary.
* Our client will expect their staff to be able to give tax/accountancy/bookkeeping advice – but this develops over time.
The Person:
You must have several years’ experience, intelligence, commitment and good communication skills who can cope with their more complicated sets of accounts.
