Senior Account Director

Allen & York are delighted to be working with a leading creative communications agency as they now look to recruit a Senior Account Director to join the super Team of motivated and dedicated professionals who work with global corporates to produce compelling and innovative sustainability reports and insights.

Based in either the UK or US (salaries vary depending on the geography), you can either work remotely and/or go into the offices (London or New York) and they organise two annual get togethers in either country, which is a great chance to let your hair down, celebrate successes and build the culture further. There's a really lovely culture within the business and the Team work well together and appreciate that everyone has different commitments, so there's a good amount of flexibility.

The main purpose of the role will be to be the key point of contact for large, high-profile clients, working with them to help them create their sustainability reports. As such, you will be adept at sustainability reporting, be up to date with the various reporting frameworks such as GRI, TCFD, SASB, UBNGPRF and ESG regulations and if you have experience of integrated and/or financial reporting, that would be advantageous.

Although about sixty percent of your time will be chargeable, you will also be required to generate new business, through a combination of lead generation, thought leadership, service line innovation and coaching AD's. You will have previous consultancy or agency experience and if you hold some corporate experience also, that would be ideal as you'll be able to see things from both sides. And if you have experience of using Workiva, that would be a distinct advantage.

In addition to the technical skills, you will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, leading presentations and pitches, but also being able to flex and adapt to changing conditions and requests. You'll be adept at managing numerous projects at any one time and being able to prioritise tasks.
