At Supporting Futures, we specialise in connecting passionate professionals with roles that make a real difference. We work closely with leading charities and services across the UK, supporting vulnerable children, young people, adults and families.

We are recruiting for a Senior Accommodation Support Worker to join an established specialist organisation delivering safe accommodation and trauma-informed support to survivors of domestic abuse.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced support worker or team leader looking to step into a senior role where you can combine direct client work with staff supervision, service coordination and quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

Lead and support a team delivering high quality accommodation-based services to survivors of domestic abuse

Provide supervision, guidance and day-to-day support to frontline staff, volunteers and students

Oversee referrals, risk assessments, support planning and case management to ensure safe and effective service delivery

Support residents with complex needs to rebuild their confidence, independence and safety

Develop and coordinate group activities and programmes that promote recovery and wellbeing

Work collaboratively with housing providers, safeguarding teams, health professionals and other partner agencies

Ensure accurate case recording, compliance and achievement of contractual targets

Help maintain safe, welcoming accommodation environments and respond to operational issues as they arise

Participate in an on-call rota and travel between accommodation sites when required

We are looking for someone with:

Experience supporting adults with complex needs, ideally within domestic abuse, housing, homelessness or another trauma-informed service

Strong knowledge of risk assessment, safeguarding and support planning

Experience supervising, mentoring or leading staff, volunteers or students

Excellent partnership working and advocacy skills

The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Please note: This post is restricted to female applicants under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1, as being female is a Genuine Occupational Requirement for this role. An enhanced DBS check will also be required.

If you're passionate about supporting survivors and ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.
