Description:

SENCO - SEND Education - Primary SEN - Central London - September 2024 Start.

We are currently looking for a Primary SEN SENCO to join a fantastic school based in Central London in September 2024 who are dedicated and passionate about supporting children in a school-based environment. The ideal person will need to have experience working with children with learning difficulties. (Autism, ADHD, Challenging Behaviour).

Your role as an SEN SENCO will be to:

Ability to plan and evaluate interventions.
Ability to build effective working relationships and communicate well with all stakeholders.
Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to run effective meetings and work as part of a team.
Excellent literacy, numeracy, written and oral communication skills
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, manage time effectively and take initiative when necessary.
Committed to personal professional development and a reflective practitionerJob Requirements:

Previous experience of working as a SENCO or Inclusion Leader.

Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.

Knowledge and experience of working with budgets.

Experience of leading the Performance Appraisal process.

Excellent IT skills and good working knowledge of main Microsoft Office software and Google web applications.

Evidence of leading staff training in reference to Special Educational Needs (SEN).Benefits to you

School Hours 8.30am -3:30/4pm Job Experience:

A successful track record of teaching within the primary age range.

Successful experience of leadership and management within a primary setting.

Involvement in self-evaluation and development planning.

Experience of working with children with a wide range of learning needs.
