About the Role:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Tutor to join a dynamic college in Nuneaton. This full-time role is perfect for an enthusiastic educator with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education and ensuring that all students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with SEND.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENDCO and other staff.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and personal growth.
Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Monitor and report on the progress of students, adapting strategies as necessary to support their learning and well-being.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and college events as required.
Requirements:

PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) is essential.
Proven experience working in a UK school or college setting.
Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students with diverse needs and abilities.
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching.
