Occupational Therapist

Salary: NHS Band 6 (£31,365 – £37,890 + Outer London supplement)
Contract: Full-time, term time only + 3 weeks, Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a committed Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will be essential in supporting the emotional and developmental needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions.
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Support students' participation in school activities by addressing physical, sensory, and cognitive needs.
Requirements:

Membership of the Health & Care Professional Council.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist in a specialist setting.
Proficient in both informal and formal standardised assessments.
Knowledge of specialist education and safeguarding vulnerable students.

Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist – High Level Advisory Role

Salary: NHS Band 6 + Outer London supplement
Contract: Part-time, term time only, Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
We are looking for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join our team in an advisory capacity, delivering therapy to students and working closely with the therapy lead.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized and group therapy sessions based on students' needs.
Collaborate with the Therapist Manager to maintain and enhance therapy provision across the school.
Offer high-level advisory support to the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:

Extensive experience in delivering Speech and Language Therapy.
Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to various therapeutic settings.
Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of therapy provision.

Physiotherapist

Salary: NHS Band 5 + Outer London supplement
Contract: Full-time (39 hours per week), term time only (+ 2 weeks), Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a dynamic Physiotherapist to join our clinical team, focusing on neurodevelopmental paediatrics. You will work under the guidance of our Lead Physiotherapist and be a part of our in-house multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments and provide hands-on treatment for students aged 4 to 19 with a range of physical, sensory, postural, and gross motor needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Utilize our facilities, including a physiotherapy treatment room, hydrotherapy pool, sensory room, and suspended equipment.
Requirements:

At least one year of post-graduate physiotherapy experience.
Demonstrable interest in working with young people.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to develop treatment plans for various conditions, including cerebral palsy, developmental delay, Downs syndrome, autism, and profound motor learning difficulties.
Location: Kisharon Noe School

Additional Information:

This role includes 39 clinical hours per week during the school term and 2 additional non-clinical weeks during school holidays.
Ongoing in-service training and professional development opportunities provided.
