At Ludlow Primary School, we are dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to our students, including those with SEND. We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team and contribute to the success and well-being of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing one-on-one support to students with SEND, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons and activities that meet the individual needs of SEND students.
Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed.
Collaborating with other staff members, parents, and external professionals to develop personalized learning plans and strategies for SEND students.
Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to the class teacher to inform future planning and interventions.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with SEND, preferably within a school setting.
A patient and empathetic approach, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and work as part of a team.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students with varying abilities and challenges.
A genuine passion for education and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of children with SEND.
