We are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a nurturing and diverse Primary School in Longsight.

This school is well located by various transport links and they work in partnership with their families to ensure each child reaches their full potential. They are looking for a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to work within their Key Stage 1 Department, supporting a small group of children with special educational needs.

Your role & responsibilities:
* Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
* Support pupils in small groups and on a one to one basis whilst responding to their individual needs
* Report academic progress to teachers and parents
* Work closely with outside agencies to embrace new strategies and ideas
Non-negotiables:
* Must have recent and relevant experience in working with young people within the last 2 years
* Level 2 or above qualification in Childcare or Supporting Teaching and Learning
* Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher and as part of a wider team
