Position: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Key Stage 2

Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with complex needs? Tradewind is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team and support a KS2 student with unique learning requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to a KS2 student with complex needs, ensuring their safety, well-being, and engagement in the classroom.
Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) to meet the student's specific learning goals.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor and evaluate the student's progress.
Employ a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to the student's learning style and abilities.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages social interaction and development.
Support the student in developing independence and life skills.
Assist with personal care and mobility needs, if required.
Maintain accurate records of the student's progress and communicate regularly with relevant stakeholders.Requirements:
Previous experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant, particularly with children who have complex needs.
Strong understanding of SEND best practices and strategies for supporting children with diverse learning requirements.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
