SEND Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Glossop
Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Glossop area. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with additional needs.
The Role
Working as a SEND Teaching Assistant within a primary school setting.
Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.
Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
Working closely with the class teacher and SEND team to provide consistent support.
Helping create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working with children with SEND in a primary school setting.
A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher is beneficial.
Patient, nurturing and confident in supporting children with additional needs.
Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Strong understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to pupil wellbeing.
Previous experience in a school or education setting is essential.
