Teaching Assistant - SEND Experience Preferred
Location: Tarporley / Cheshire West Area
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-Time / Long-Term or Day to Day opportunities
Premier Education is working with a welcoming primary school in the Tarporley area who are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team.
The school are particularly keen to hear from TAs with SEND experience, although they will consider anyone with strong school-based experience who is confident supporting children in the classroom.
The Role
Supporting pupils across the primary age range
Working alongside the class teacher to support learning
Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required
Supporting pupils with additional needs
Helping create a positive and engaging learning environment
Supporting with behaviour and pastoral needs where appropriate
We're Looking For
Previous experience working in a school or educational setting
SEND experience is highly desirable
Confident supporting children with a range of needs
A calm, patient and adaptable approach
Good classroom and behaviour management skills
Reliable and committed
Two suitable references
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
