Position: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Sandwell, Primary School Employment Type: Full-Time

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will have the rewarding opportunity to work closely with children who require additional support to thrive academically and socially. Your role will be pivotal in creating an inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-on-one support to students with SEND, assisting them with classroom activities and ensuring their individual needs are met.

* Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement tailored learning strategies for students with diverse learning requirements.

* Foster a nurturing and supportive atmosphere where students feel encouraged to participate and succeed.

* Assist with the assessment of students' progress and contribute valuable insights to individualized education plans (IEPs).

* Promote positive behavior management techniques and encourage independence and confidence in students.

Requirements:

* Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities is desirable but not essential.
