Salary: £95 - £100 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream Primary School in the DL15 area, who are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. The school promotes an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every child is encouraged to succeed and staff are valued as part of a collaborative team.
The school is looking to take on a SEN Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis from September. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will work across KS1 and KS2, providing tailored support to pupils with a range of SEND needs, both on a 1:1 basis and within the classroom, helping them to engage with learning and reach their individual targets.
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:
• Experience supporting children with SEND within a school setting
• A Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant childcare qualification
• Experience working across KS1 and KS2
• Knowledge of a range of SEND needs and support strategies
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A patient, caring and flexible approach
