Connex Education is working with a SEMH Alternative School in Middlesbrough who are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work full- time.
About the school
The school itself caters for pupils with a range of needs including
SEMH, ADHD, Attachment and Behaviour issues. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting KS3 and 4 Students within the classroom and on a 1:1 Bases

Person Specification
Experience working with children with SEND/SEMH conditions.
Knowledge of child development and learning needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must hold a DBS on update service or willing to apply for one.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Flexibility and willingness to adapt lessons as needed.
Good organization and multitasking abilities
