You will also support children aged five to seven during periods of significant emotional distress or challenging behaviour, using agreed de-escalation strategies to help them regulate and return to learning.

There is scope to contribute to the schools developing SEND alternative provision, making this a strong opportunity for an experienced SEND professional ready to take on greater responsibility.

Experience mentoring colleagues or modelling effective SEND strategies.

Strong knowledge of positive behaviour support and de-escalation.

Good understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and individual support plans.

Availability through the end of the academic year.

The right to work in the UK and willingness to complete an enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks.
