SEND Teaching Assistant – Communication & Learning Support | East Birmingham
£90–£105 per day | Full-Time | Long-Term
Pay rates are dependent on experience, qualifications and suitability for the role, and may vary accordingly.

First For Education is seeking a passionate SEND Teaching Assistant for a specialist school in East Birmingham.
You'll be helping pupils with autism, learning difficulties and speech and language needs to access education, develop confidence and achieve meaningful progress.
Your responsibilities:
Delivering individual and small-group learning support.
Supporting speech, language and communication development.
Helping pupils follow personalised learning plans.
Encouraging social interaction and independence.
Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Working collaboratively with teachers and SEND teams.We're looking for:
Experience in SEND, education or relevant care settings.
Understanding of communication and learning barriers.
Patience, reliability and a proactive attitude.
Confidence working with pupils with varied support needs.What First For Education offers:
