SEND Teaching Assistant

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join a school specializing in complex learning difficulties in Wirral as a SEND Teaching Assistant in a long-term position. The school focuses on the development and learning of children and young people with PMLD, including speech and sensory difficulties.

This role would be ideal for anyone with a passion for supporting the development of children, as well as those with previous experience and knowledge of managing complex needs.

Job Details

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

Assist the teacher in planning personalised and engaging learning experiences.
Supporting students with SEND
Communicating effectively with teachersIdeal Candidate

Strong communication skills
Previous teaching experience or experience in working with children
Knowledge about PMLD
