Full-Time | Day-to-Day & Long-Term Supply

Have you completed a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification? Are you looking to start or continue a rewarding career supporting children with Special Educational Needs?

Aspire People are recruiting caring, enthusiastic and reliable individuals to work as SEND Teaching Assistants across specialist schools and alternative provisions throughout Birmingham.

We would love to hear from candidates who hold one of the following qualifications:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning
Level 3 Health & Social Care
CACHE Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning
CACHE Level 3 Health & Social Care
NCFE Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning

Whether you've gained experience through work placements, previous employment or voluntary roles, we'd like to hear from you.

Your role will include:
Supporting pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH and other additional needs.
Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.
Helping pupils develop confidence and independence.
Working alongside teachers and the wider SEND team.
Providing personal care where required.
We're looking for candidates who:
Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification.
Have experience working with children or vulnerable adults.
Are patient, resilient and passionate about supporting young people.
Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one.
