SEND Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking additional SEND Teaching Assistants to work within our partner SEND settings in and around the North Bristol area.

About the role

The school you will be working in is dedicated to provide quality provision and learning experiences for their students which is both appropriate and personalised in meeting a wide range of needs. The students remain at the heart of every decision the school makes to ensure that they are happy, safe and confident and that the opportunities they offer are matched to their needs for the present and for the future.

You will be working in a school that caters for children with Autism and learning disabilities and the hours for this role are 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

This role would suit someone who has previous experience working in a school setting, however isn't essential as we have a Trainee Teaching Assistant program that we can enrol you on.

Requirements

You must be a driver and have access to your own vehicle, as this school is not accessible via public transport.
Hold, or be prepared to undergo an enhanced DBS, registered to the update service.
Have previous experience of working with children or young people: ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work or similar setting.
Be available Monday to Friday, term time only.
