Position: Primary Teacher/Tutor for Individual Students with Complex Needs
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Teacher/Tutor to provide one-to-one instruction to three individual students with complex needs. The students are currently in Year 2 and Year 6 but are working at an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) level. This role is ideal for a teacher who is comfortable and skilled in working with different age groups and educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personalised and engaging one-to-one instruction to three individual students.
Develop and implement individualised learning plans tailored to each student's unique needs and abilities.
Utilise a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and collaborate on educational strategies.
Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters student confidence and growth.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience working with children with complex needs and at different educational levels.
Strong knowledge of EYFS curriculum and ability to adapt it for older students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, creativity, and a passion for helping students achieve their potential.
Hours and Compensation:
Hours are negotiable to fit the successful candidate's schedule.
Planning and preparation time will be paid in addition to teaching time.
Competitive pay rates ranging from £25 to £35 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
