The role:
Leading a specialist SEND class within the school
Planning and delivering highly differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs to access learning and achieve positive outcomes
Working closely with support staff, families, and external professionals
Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
Monitoring progress and implementing effective intervention strategiesThe ideal candidate will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have significant SEND teaching experience
Be confident leading a specialist provision or SEND class
Demonstrate a strong understanding of a range of special educational needs and effective teaching strategies
Have excellent behaviour management, communication, and organisational skills
