### The Role

As a SEND Teacher, you will deliver engaging, personalised learning experiences that meet the individual needs of every pupil while creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
* Using Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) to set, monitor and review personalised learning targets.
* Adapting teaching strategies and resources to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum.
* Working collaboratively with the SENCO, therapists, teaching assistants and other professionals to provide the best possible support.
* Building positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on pupil progress.
* Promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
* Following all safeguarding, SEND and school policies to ensure the wellbeing of every pupil.

### What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, including Autism, communication needs, SLD and PMLD.
* A strong understanding of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum and effective SEND teaching strategies.
* The ability to inspire and lead support staff while working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills.
* A compassionate, patient and flexible approach with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
