You will be teaching a small class of approximately 8 children within the school's Additionally Resourced Provision, providing tailored learning experiences to meet each child's individual needs. You will play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment where every child is supported to develop academically, socially and emotionally.

We are looking for someone with previous experience teaching children with SEND, or a teacher who is confident, enthusiastic and keen to develop their expertise in this area.

Key Responsibilities of a SEND Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs and abilities of pupils with SEND.
Create a nurturing, structured and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel safe, valued and supported.
Adapt teaching approaches, resources and activities to meet a range of learning needs.
Support pupils' communication, social development, independence and emotional regulation.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, the SENCO, parents and external professionals to ensure consistent and effective support.
Promote positive behaviour, engagement and participation in learning.

Can differentiate learning effectively and respond flexibly to individual needs.
Has high expectations for all pupils and is committed to helping every child reach their potential.
