Job Title: Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Teacher (SEND Teacher)
Location: North London
Start Date: Immediately & September
Boroughs: Barnet, Brent, Enfield, Haringey and Islington
Salary: £150 to 190 per day {additional £25 to 35per/hour for SEND Allowance}

Role Overview: They are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Specialist Teacher to join the inclusion faculty. This role involves working with our additional nurture provision for high-needs SEND students, including those with Education, Health, and Care (EHC) plans. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of inspiring and motivating students with SEND and behaviour difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspire and motivate students with SEND and behavior difficulties
Assess learners and develop personalized curriculum programs tailored to individual needs
Implement strategies to engage challenging students and foster their academic and personal growth
Collaborate with colleagues to support the overall development of the inclusion faculty
Stay abreast of best practices and developments in SEND education
Requirements:
Qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications
Experience working with students with SEND, including SEMH(Social, Emotional & Mental Health), SLCN (Speech, Language & Communication Needs) and MLD (Multiple Learning Difficulties).
Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice (SEND COP)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
