About the Role

Connex Education is recruiting passionate and dedicated SEND Teachers to work within specialist educational settings across North Somerset from September 2026.

We have a variety of opportunities available, including day-to-day supply, short-term placements, and long-term teaching roles with full classroom responsibilities. These positions offer the chance to work within highly supportive specialist provisions that cater for children and young people aged 3 to 19 years with a range of additional learning needs.

The settings support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), communication and interaction needs, sensory processing differences, complex learning needs and Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH). Class sizes are typically small, allowing teachers to provide highly personalised learning experiences and support pupils to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Whether you are an experienced SEND practitioner or a mainstream teacher looking to transition into specialist education, this is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of young people.
