SEND Teacher – Kidderminster
First For Education is seeking an experienced and committed SEND Teacher to join a specialist education setting in Kidderminster, supporting pupils who require a more individualised approach to learning, behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
This is a full-time, long-term position, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about working with young people who may have struggled within mainstream education and require additional support to re-engage with learning and achieve positive outcomes.
The setting provides a supportive and nurturing environment, with a strong focus on individualised learning, positive relationships and pupil wellbeing.
SEND Teacher benefits:
• Competitive daily rate £160–£220 per day, dependent on experience
• PAYE paid weekly

The ideal SEND Teacher will:
• Hold QTS or QTLS, or have relevant teaching experience within a specialist setting
• Have experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH or additional learning needs
• Be confident adapting lessons to meet individual pupil needs
• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be able to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
• Have a calm, patient and resilient approach
• Work effectively alongside Teaching Assistants and other support professionals
• Be passionate about helping young people re-engage with education and make meaningful progress
Experience within a specialist provision, alternative provision, PRU or SEND setting would be highly beneficial.
