Pay: £95 per day
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, term time only

Prospero Teaching is recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants for a specialist school in Bury St Edmunds. We're looking for patient, reliable people who understand that progress looks different for every pupil and can adapt their support to individual needs.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and the wider support team to help pupils access learning, develop independence and feel confident at school.
The SEND Teaching Assistant role:
Support pupils individually and in small groups, adapting activities to their needs.
Build positive relationships and provide consistent encouragement throughout the school day.
Support communication, emotional regulation and engagement with learning.
Work with teaching staff to follow individual support plans and recognise pupils' progress.
Help create a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment.
We're looking for:
Experience supporting children or young people with SEND in education, care or a similar setting.
A calm, patient approach and confidence supporting pupils who need additional reassurance.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
A commitment to safeguarding and helping pupils achieve their potential.
Experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Behaviour Mentor or Support Worker would be particularly relevant.
