SEND Primary Teacher Location: West Yorkshire
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
The Role
Our client is looking for a passionate SEND Primary Teacher to join a specialist education setting supporting children and young people with complex needs and behaviours that can challenge.
You will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated learning across KS1 and KS2, creating a safe and nurturing classroom where pupils can build confidence and make meaningful progress.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, teach and assess learning across KS1 and KS2.
Adapt lessons to meet individual SEND needs and abilities.
Support positive behaviour and create a safe learning environment.
Work closely with teaching assistants and the wider school team.
Contribute to pupil reports, progress tracking and curriculum development.
Build positive relationships with pupils, families and professionals. Requirements
QTS or QTLS is essential.
Experience teaching at KS1 and/or KS2 level.
A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional and complex needs.
