Primary/Secondary - SEND
Based in Westminster and surrounding area
Full-TimeEmpowering Learning are currently looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work within a school based in Westminster and surrounding areas. We are looking for an outstanding and experienced Learning Support Assistants, who are dedicated to supporting children with various special needs. Our school supports children with various learning abilities, such as challenging behaviour and MLD so experience of working with a range of special needs would be desirable. We would be looking for a dynamic Learning Support Assistant who can work across various age groups within primary/secondary school age.

Job Responsibilities

Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 and group basis
Supervising children in & out of the classroom
Encourage and support the pupils learning
Helping the teacher prepare for lessons and plan activitiesBenefits to you

Excellent rates of pay depending on experience
The opportunity of a permanent contract with the school
Based in Westminster and surrounding areas

Experience of working as a Learning Support Assistant/Classroom Assistant
Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities
Strong communication skills
Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
Available 5 days a week and able to commit
Able to commit to 3-6 months and potentially longerWe do not offer or accept sponsorship
