Location: 2-form entry, diverse and vibrant primary school in South Leeds

Contract: 1 Year Contract, Temporary – Permanent Opportunity

Start Date: September

Pay: From £100 per day, dependent on experience 

PK Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team on a temp to perm basis. This role involves leading the provision and lessons for pupils in a SEND hub, focusing on students with complex communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the provision for pupils in the SEND hub

- Deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to complex communication needs

- Work collaboratively with the SEND team to support each student's individual learning journey

- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

- Previous experience as an HLTA or similar role

- HLTA qualification is not essential, we are looking for someone with the right experience

- Strong understanding of SEND, particularly in communication needs

- Passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs

- Confidence to lead a team of inclusion support workers and provide provision for children with complex needs

- Ability to work full-time from September
