Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? We are seeking an enthusiastic SEND Class Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive specialist school in the Kingsthorpe (NN2) area.

This rewarding full-time role involves teaching and supporting secondary-aged pupils with a range of complex needs, including:

Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
Communication and Interaction Needs
Severe and Complex Learning Difficulties
The Role

As a SEND Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of your pupils. Working alongside experienced support staff and therapists, you will help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment where every student can achieve their full potential.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have experience teaching children or young people with SEND, ideally within a specialist setting
Demonstrate a patient, resilient and nurturing approach
Be confident adapting lessons to meet a wide range of learning needs and abilities
Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
Be committed to promoting independence, confidence and positive outcomes for all learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
