Class Teacher – SEND Provision (KS1–KS4)
Location: Croydon
Salary: Outer London Pay Scale SEN Allowance
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Our agency is recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEND provision in Croydon for a dedicated Class Teacher to work with pupils across KS1–KS4. This role involves teaching children and young people with a range of needs, including SEMH and challenging behaviours, within a supportive and specialist setting.
Key Duties
Core Duties
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils across the primary and secondary age range.
Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress.
Create a positive learning environment that supports pupils' academic, social and emotional development.Additional Duties
Provide pastoral support and act as Key Stage lead for a designated group of pupils.
Lead and develop a curriculum subject area across the school.
Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and external agencies to support positive outcomes for pupils.
Contribute to EHCP reviews, safeguarding and wider school improvement initiatives.Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience working with SEND, SEMH and/or challenging behaviours.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
