Tradewind are currently looking for a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant for a Year 6 pupil at our lovely client primary school in Bolton.

Job Title: 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Bolton

Contract Type: Full-Time,

Length of Time: Begin in September 2024 and you will be required to complete the Academic Year

Salary: £83 - £95 per day, subject to experience

The Role:

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing specialised support for a student with SEMH and ASC
Developing and implementing tailored educational and behavioural strategies to support the student
Collaborating with teachers and specialists to ensure the child's academic and social progress
Utilising a shared interest of sport and football to build a trusting and nurturing relationship with the student and foster a safe learning environmentThis 1:1 Teaching Assistant role is for a 'Good' Ofsted, one-form entry school that is dedicated to supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of their students.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:

Experience working with students with SEND, including ASC
Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum to ensure academic progress with booster sessions
A genuine passion for special education and child development
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A patient and empathetic approach to working with children
Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
Subject to providing Full CV History, willingness to undergo enhanced DBS check, and overseas police clearance (where necessary)By registering with Tradewind, you will benefit from:
