1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant - Stechford**
**Full-Time | September Start | 1-Year Contract**

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a male pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a primary school in Stechford.

This is a rewarding but demanding role supporting a pupil who requires consistent guidance, structure, and supervision throughout the school day.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Providing dedicated 1:1 support in and out of the classroom
* Supporting a pupil with ASD who can be boisterous and highly energetic
* Managing behaviours such as running, charging around the classroom, and climbing
* Assisting with toileting and personal care needs
* Promoting engagement, learning, and positive behaviour
* Working closely with teaching staff and SEND professionals

**The Ideal Candidate Will Have:**

* Previous experience supporting children with ASD and SEND
* Strong behaviour management skills
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach
* Confidence supporting personal care needs
* The ability to maintain firm boundaries while building a positive relationship
* A proactive and adaptable attitude

**Contract:** Full-Time, 1 Year
