Role: Senior SENCO
Salary: Up to UPS3 with TLR
Location: North West London
Start Date: SeptemberSANZA Teaching is delighted to be supporting a very large and successful school in North West London in their search for a Senior SENCO. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving educational community on a temporary-to-permanent basis starting in September. The role offers a competitive salary up to USP with TLR.
About the Role
As the Senior SENCO, you will:
Lead and manage the SEND provision across the school
Oversee the coordination of SEND support, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices
Manage two Additionally Resourced Provisions (ARPs) within the school
Coordinate and monitor over 50 Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs)
Develop and implement the school's SEND policy and strategic direction
Support and train staff on SEND practices and interventions
Liaise with external agencies, parents, and carers to ensure effective support for students with SEND
Conduct regular assessments and reviews of student progress and provision effectiveness
Ensure that all SEND students receive high-quality teaching and support tailored to their individual needsAbout the School

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with significant experience in a SENCO role
National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or willingness to complete it
Proven track record of managing and improving SEND provision in a school setting
Experience in managing ARPs and coordinating EHCPs
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies
