This is a varied and rewarding role that combines strategic leadership with hands-on support, overseeing the day-to-day coordination of SEND provision, leading EHCP and Annual Review processes, and supporting colleagues to deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching. You'll build strong partnerships with parents, carers, local authorities, and external agencies to ensure students receive the right support at the right time, while monitoring progress, interventions, and whole-school practice to drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes for every learner.

Build strong relationships with parents, carers, local authorities, and external professionals.

Monitor student progress, assessments, and interventions, using data to evaluate impact and inform future planning.

About You

You'll be passionate about making a difference to the lives of students with additional needs and committed to helping every learner achieve their potential. You will be a collaborative, approachable professional who can build positive relationships with students, families, colleagues, and external agencies alike.

We're looking for someone who combines strong SEND knowledge with excellent communication and organisational skills. You'll be confident leading others, promoting inclusive practice, and finding creative solutions that support students to overcome barriers to learning.

A strong understanding of SEND legislation, the SEND Code of Practice, and inclusive educational practice.
