Are you a dedicated and experienced SENDCO looking to make a significant impact in a vibrant and inclusive school environment?
Our school is seeking a passionate SENDCO to join our team and lead our efforts in providing exceptional support and education to students with special educational needs and disabilities.
Competitive salary based on experience.
Contract hours: Mon - Fri, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
THE ROLE
* Lead the development and implementation of the school's SEND policy.
* Coordinate and manage the provision for students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive tailored support and resources.
* Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to create and implement EHCPs
* Conduct assessments and identify students' needs, monitoring their progress and adjusting support strategies as required.
* Provide training and support to staff on inclusive teaching practices and SEND-related challenges.
YOU
* Enhanced DBS check.
* Previous experience within a school setting.
* QTS or relevant teaching qualification.
* Strong understanding of SEND legislation, policies, and best practices.
* Passion for inclusive education and commitment to supporting all students in reaching their full potential.
