Contract Type: Full-Time,
Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR (Dependent on Experience)
Working hours: 8:00am 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

About the role:
The successful SENCO will lead the provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across the school. You will work closely with teaching staff, senior leaders, parents and external agencies to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially.

Were looking for a dedicated candidate to:
Lead and manage the school's SEND provision and strategy.
Identify, assess and monitor students with special educational needs.
Support teachers in delivering effective interventions and inclusive classroom practices.
Work collaboratively with parents, carers and external professionals.
Maintain accurate SEND records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Contribute to whole-school improvement and student wellbeing initiatives.

Requirements - The ideal candidate would have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or willingness to work towards it.
Previous experience working as a SENCO or within a SEND leadership role.
Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and current legislation.
Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.

A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs.
